What an honor for these great educators! Music for All has announced that Randy Greenwell, recently retired from Lawrence Central, and Matt James, Lawrence Central Director of Performing Arts, will be inducted into the 2018 Bands of America Hall of Fame.
Mr. Greenwell and Mr. James have made a significant impact on Bands of America, music education, and America's band activity. Their commitment, hard work, and attention to detail has earned them one of the most prestigious band awards in the country! Lawrence Township Schools are very fortunate to have their students benefit from such experience and leadership.

MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!
550 LTSF
Up & Running students participated in the 22nd Annual Indianapolis Half & 5K race at Fort Benjamin Harrison on October 7, 2017. From start to finish, the anticipation and excitement of the students, mentors, and family members was evident, and LTSF was proud to play a part in all of it! Thank you Beyond Monumental and the Monumental Kids Movement for sponsoring our program! Also, a special shoutout to MCIT, Lawrence Central, and Dr. Smith for supporting our students on race day. Once again, the power of community was in action.

Chad McCune, LN Class of 1988, is the co-founder along with Mark Pressley of the Bridge Fund,
a community partner with
the Lawrence Township School Foundation. Chad and Mark wanted to help connect deserving students with opportunities, so in January of 2013 they established the Bridge Fund to support students in the MSD of Lawrence Township (MSDLT). Last year, the Bridge Fund impacted over 1,500 MSDLT students by providing backpacks filled with school supplies, paying test fees,
funding college tours, paying athletic and performing arts fees, buying calculators, and much more
.
On October 6, 2017, the Bridge Fund held the 5th annual "the BoB" Bridge Fund Golf Outing.
Chad, Mark, and special guest, Adam Vinatieri from the Indianapolis Colts, helped make the day a huge success. Awesome job, guys!
