Donate to Hurricane Harvey Victims
The United Methodist Committee on Relief ( UMCOR ) is currently working with disaster coordinators and early response teams in Louisiana and Texas to provide relief to the many people whose lives have been impacted by hurricane/tropical storm Harvey. 
 
UMCOR is asking that congregations assemble and donate Cleaning Kits (Flood Buckets) . Please mark your calendar for Sunday, September 30, when our church will assemble 100 Cleaning Kits.

GriefShare
Begins THIS Sunday, September 10 | 4 – 6 p.m.

GriefShare is a support group that meets weekly for 13 weeks and include information-packed videos featuring grief recovery experts. There is small group discussion after the weekly video and a workbook for journaling and personal study exercises. The cost is $15 for the workbook and scholarships are available if needed.

Here's how it works:
  1. Answer “yes” to being a disciple and loving and serving our neighbor;
  2. get assigned/choose a tiger to support; and
  3. provide small gifts of encouragement from letters to little treats throughout the school year.
