Disaster Response Mission Trip

Hurricane Irma Disaster Response Mission Trip
October 22-28, 2017
Tampa, Florida

Belin Memorial is sending a team of volunteers to Tampa, FL. The team will leave after the 11 AM worship services on Sunday, October 22, and will return on Saturday, October 28. While in Florida, the team will rebuild a roof of a home damaged by the winds of Hurricane Irma. Once the roof is completed, the team will muck-out houses that were flooded during the storm.

We are in need of several more volunteers so that all of our scheduled work will be finished in a week. No previous mission experience is required, and we have spots available for people who can help with meal preparation for the team while they work on the homes. There will be jobs for people of all skill levels.

If you are interested or have any questions, contact Walter Cantwell ( [email protected], 843.651.5099) as soon as possible.

Trunk or Treat at Chick-fil-A

Kids, don't miss Trunk or Treat at Chick-fil-A in Murrells Inlet

Saturday, October 21, 5 PM - 7 PM

Get your costume on and come on out to have some pre-Halloween fun and awesome treats!

Help a Family in Need
On Saturday night, a home in Murrells Inlet caught on fire, destroying all of the family's belongings. We are asking for gift cards to be donated to the church so that the family will be able to buy clothes, toys for the toddler and young children, school supplies, furnishings for their new home, and replace whatever was lost. Sadly, they did not have insurance and are in desperate need. Please do not bring any clothes or supplies as we want the family to have the opportunity to select what it is they need. Also, please continue to keep the family - grandparents, parents, and 3 young children - in your prayers during this difficult time.

Gift card donations may be dropped off in the church office or left in the offering plate on Sunday (mark for "fire victims"). Contact Robin Boyer ( [email protected] , 843.651.5099 ) if you have any questions.

Worship With Us
A Note About Parking
We are blessed to have so many people worship with us each Sunday! Please be courteous by parking in designated parking spaces only and refrain from blocking the roadways. There is ample parking in the grass field just north of the Family Life Center. We invite you to consider this option so that closer spaces might be available for the elderly or for those who are less mobile. Thank you and see you Sunday!
