Discharge Upgrade Training to Support Veterans Event
Tues. November 14, 2017
|
Interested in helping veterans? A number of veterans in the Miami Valley suffer from Post-Traumatic Stress Syndrome (PTSD) and Traumatic Brain Injuries due to military service, many received less than honorable discharges before their conditions were diagnosed. As a result they cannot get medical treatment from the Veterans Administration (VA). If these veterans can get their discharges upgraded via administrative processes through the various armed services components (i.e., Air Force, Army and Navy), then they can qualify for medical care at the VA to treat their PTSD and TBI conditions.
