Liza Pollock L.Ac, M.Ac.O.M., is the newest team member at the Stram Center for Integrative Medicine.   Liza brings a wealth of energy and experience to The Stram Center. She has battled Lyme twice and she is a young cancer survivor, bringing great empathy to how she relates to each person she engages with.

First United Methodist Church of Delmar has a new senior pastor, Rev. Amy B. Gregory. She succeeds Rev. Deborah O'Connor Slater, who has retired. 
 
Rev. Gregory, a native of Norwich in Chenango County, New York, and a graduate of Union Theological Seminary in New York City, had served since 2009 as pastor of First United Methodist Church in Greene, New York.  Visit the church website to learn more about Re. Gregory.

The New York State Health Foundation (NYSHealth) is pleased to launch a Request for Proposals (RFP): Sponsoring Conference Participation in Support of Healthy Communities, Consumer Empowerment, and Veterans' Health. Many organizations across the State are doing smart, innovative work that is relevant to NYSHealth's priority areas of Building Healthy Communities and Empowering Health Care Consumers and its focus area on Veterans' Health. Through this RFP, NYSHealth will sponsor community-based organizations, health departments, and other low-resource organizations to attend and present at local, State, and national conferences related to these funding areas. The Saturday Delmar Farmers Market opens for the season on Saturday, May 6, 9am-1pm at the Bethlehem Middle School on Kenwood Avenue.  Visit the website for details.
