Volunteer attorney wins $10,000 in child support for a single mom and daughter
Victoria Ebrahimi-Charles , from Alexander Shunnarah Attorneys, recently made a huge difference for a single mom and her 17-year-old daughter by winning $10,000 in back child support for them.

Victoria first met the mom, who is a part-time bus driver and who had not been paid child support in three years, while volunteering at the BBVLP Domestic Relations Help Desk.

"The client was going through a rough time personally - her mother's cancer has returned - and she was having a hard time navigating the legal system alone," Victoria said. "She clearly deserved help."

The client was extremely appreciative of Victoria calling her "an angel sent from heaven." The client said Victoria "never stopped trying until she won."
