Join the Panther Family for our annual Trunk or Treat, Saturday, October 28 before the final SMCC home football game of the season. Trunk or Treat runs from 5:45pm-6:15pm, and all kids are welcome to participate in costume with a donation of a canned good. We do need parent volunteers to decorate their trunks and pass out treats. PAW WRESTLING CAMP
The 2017 PAW Wrestling Camp will be held on Monday, October 30 through Thursday, November 2, from 3:00pm-4:15pm in the SCCS Wrestling Room. The camp is open to students in kindergarten through 8th grade, and is for both beginner and experienced wrestlers. The cost of the camp is $20.

GIL KROMER MEMORIAL 5K Saturday, November 11, the Teen Leadership Corps Class is hosting the 3rd annual Gil Kromer Memorial 5K Run/Walk at Osborn Park. Registration begins at 7:30am, with the 5K race at 9:00am and the Mile Fun Run at 10:00am. This race is in memory of Gil Kromer, a former SCCS student, who passed away unexpectedly in October of 2014. All proceeds benefit the Gilbert David Kromer Scholarship Fund, established at SCCS. GRANDPARENT AND SPECIAL PERSON DAY
Thursday, October 19 is Grandparent and Special Person Day for students in kindergarten through grade 8. Mass is at 8:00am at St. Mary's Church for grades 1-8, kindergarten students will not attend Mass but will be ready to accept visitors at 9:00am. After Mass, grades 1-8 grandparents may walk over with their students to visit classrooms. All grandparents and visitors are then invited at 9:30am to stop down in The Den for coffee, pastries, and conversation.

Girl Scout Troop 50284 is conducting a Box Top Drive the week of October 16 for preschool through grade 5. Students are asked to bring in an envelope or zip lock bag with their name, teacher's name, and the number of Box Tops inside. The classroom that collects the most Box Tops will win ice cream party!
