The Heroin Diaries: A Year in the Life of a
Shattered Rock Star
by Nikki Sixx

This was not a 'fun' read, and I was glad to be finished with it, but I'm glad I read it. Having attended in high school in the ‘80s, I’ve been aware of Nikki Sixx for most of my life, but he was never more than a face and a name. Reading his story in his own words made him a real person to me, and people are so interesting. Observations from others who knew him at this time and in his early years add perspective.
