Please support LaGuardia students and excellence in arts education!
Thank you for being a valued member of our inspiring Alumni & Friends (A&F) community. Whether you are 18 or 88, you shared a common experience: attending the most magical school on earth!

Recently, LaGuardia and its students have been struggling with drastic and demoralizing cuts to funding for the arts. We need your help to make sure future generations have the same opportunities we had.

Your tax deductible contribution to Alumni & Friends can help LaGuardia students at this critical time by providing:
  • art supplies for students who otherwise could not afford them
  • accompanists for the dance, drama, and music departments and master classes taught by industry professionals
  • scholarships for need based students to attend summer programs or private lessons
  • instrument repair, books and periodicals for the library, sheet music for music students, publishing the student literary arts magazine, and so much more!
Your donations enable Alumni & Friends to keep you connected to your classmates and extraordinary alumni by:
  • planning reunions and special events for alumni of Music & Art, Performing Arts, and LaGuardia High Schools
  • sharing news and accomplishments of our alumni in newsletters, our website, and through social media
  • maintaining a database of over 45,000 alumni

"The A&F Summer Study Scholarship helped me build a professional level college portfolio, and I was accepted to my dream school - Rhode Island School of Design. At times I've struggled with believing in my artistic abilities, so to receive A&F's support on numerous occasions means more than I can ever express. You inspire me to keep pushing forward, to continue creating, and to constantly work towards my future career as an illustrator and animator."

Deirdre Rouse (Art), LaGuardia '17, recipient of the A&F Summer Study Scholarship and the Richard and Mica Hadar Foundation Scholarship
"We unfortunately live in a time in which the importance of the arts is being grossly underestimated and overlooked, but it is wonderful to have people like you, who understand the importance of all art forms."
