The Time is Now!

The Big Give has officially begun! During this 26-hour giving campaign, the Columbus Foundation will provide our school with a pro-rated matching gift for donations made by SFD community members.  The more we give, the more we get! More information can be found at  www.sfdstallions.org/big-give.
Thank you in advance for helping us kickoff our 2017-18 Annual Giving at SFD.

Defend Our Title

The voting polls are open and St. Francis DeSales High School has been nominated for Best Private School once again! Last year, SFDHS was voted Best Private School in the inaugural Columbus Dispatch CBUS Top Picks. Help us receive this distinction for 2017 by voting daily until the polls close on October 22:  http://dispatch.secondstreetapp.com/Columbus-Dispatchs-Top-Picks-2017/.
Stallions in the Spotlight

The Central Ohio Chapter would like to recognize local DeSales player Leah Richards for making a difference in the Central Ohio Lacrosse community. Leah single handedly organized a Lacrosse Equipment Drive to donate to the Central Ohio Chapter. Due to the phenomenal success of the equipment drive, the Chapter can now distribute the gently used equipment to new and growing programs to help grow participation of the sport. Leah will be recognized at the Central Ohio Community Lacrosse event held today.

We have partnered again with St. Anthony School for the 'Read with a Stallion' program. Last Friday students Mileena Mookphachan, Lindsay Plymale, and Reagan Morse read to a group of Longhorns.

First Impressions

The first of five etiquette modules will be held  Wednesday, October 18th from  3:15pm to 4:15pm in the Franciscan Center. These modules, sponsored by the Business Club and presented by Cathi Fallon, founder of the Etiquette Institute of Ohio, are free for Business Club members, otherwise, cost $10.00 per module payable at the door.

The first module is First Impressions. With every new encounter, you are evaluated and yet another person's impression of you is formed. These first impressions can be nearly impossible to reverse or undo, making those first encounters extremely important, for they set the tone for all the relationships that follow.

Business Club members should respond to an Evite sent to all members. Non-Business Club members need to email Mr. Montenaro to reserve a spot. Light snacks and drinks are served.
Part-time Sub in SFD Kitchen

Daily Reflection

Lord and Savior, in my human imperfection, You know that I have sinned and am sorry; May the good works that I can do be filled with faith and give You glory. Amen.
