Good Deed Brigade . . . Making A Difference
Miracle Workers Give Dog a Second Change at Life (PrimeVet)

A special dog named Daffodil otherwise known as Daffi to her friends has the soul of an angel and the support of good samaritans better referred to as great samaritans in the form of the staff of PrimeVet Animal Hospital located in Orange Park, Florida.

Daffodil is pictured here with PrimeVet receptionist and ambassador Melissa Williams.  Daffodil weighed just 38 pounds when she was rescued by Pit Sisters, a non-profit animal rescue organization.

The owner and staff at PrimeVet graciously offered to foster this dog despite her poor health, shockingly low weight, and paralysis. That's right, when this poor dog entered the doors of PrimeVet, she was extremely malnourished and paralyzed.

Through a good bit of patience, care, therapy, and yes, love, this dog not only survived but is flourishing.  She currently can be found by Melissa's side at the front desk at PrimeVet wagging her tail and, yes, prancing along with joy.  During the rehabilitation process, the staff had to use a lift to provide therapy, daily care, and activities for Daffi. Despite the hardships suffered by this dog, Daffodil is as sweet as can be and now available for a permanent home.  She is eating well and fully mobile. The recovery of this dog is truly amazing.

As noted by PrimeVet Office Manager - Michelle Eden, "Daffodil is loved by all in the office and each guest of the office.  Her smile, warmth, and personality just make each day a bit brighter."
