CONTINUING CARE RESIDENT AND FAMILY COUNCIL TOOLKIT

The Alberta Continuing Care Resident and Family Council Toolkit was developed by the Covenant Health Network of Excellence in Seniors' Health and Wellness as part of a provincial project to improve effectiveness of resident and/or family councils in continuing care. The toolkit provides information, tools, tips and templates to set up and run a successful council and is applicable to all continuing care settings and all council structures.
2017 ALBERTA NONPROFIT SURVEY

The Calgary Chamber of Voluntary Organizations has released the results of this year's Nonprofit Survey. The survey results provide insights into the impact of the economic downturn, revenue sources, operating costs, demand for programs and services, impact of minimum wage, and workforce challenges.

This is a drop-in program and the group works on projects such as dream catchers, beaded lanyards, jewelry, ornaments such as birch bark basket making, quill art, fish scale art and much more. Right now the group operates on a "make-one, take-one" basis. Participants can enjoy a coffee or a tea and some great company while they work on their projects.
