As we culminate LDI's 50th year celebration with our symposium, Shaping the Future of Health Care, I am struck by the ways that health care has advanced since 1967. At the same time, as a nation, we still struggle to assure access to affordable care to all. Increasingly, innovations in delivery and payment to drive value are being adopted, yet we are still early in the journey towards a national high-value health system. LDI's nearly 400 experts, not bound by traditional academic boundaries, collaborate to provide the thought leadership and evidence needed to affect positive change in our health system. I am excited and optimistic that LDI will continue to lead the way in addressing our most pressing challenges in health care.
Dan Polsky, PhD Executive Director, LDI
