Your issues and opinions drive our agenda at the local, state and federal levels. Business Resources Just a Click Away

business_concepts.jpg The Minnesota Chamber's premier business assistance program, Grow Minnesota, offers many Business Resources. Your Chamber, as a partner in Grow Minnesota, views the online site as an important tool to our mission of retaining Minnesota businesses and encouraging them to expand here in the region.

Businesses can navigate the pages to identify and access state and regional resources in seven categories: business financing; entrepreneurship; environmental and energy; exporting/importing; research and data tools; start and manage a business; workforce development. What are the criteria for accessing money from the state's angel loan fund? What is current employment law for issues that commonly surface at the workplace? Who can assist in developing a strategy to enter the export market? Who can help guide a business through the process of environmental permitting? Answers to these and many more questions are a click away.

There's no better way to develop and grow Minnesota's home-grown economy than by connecting Minnesota businesses.

Member Spotlight: Building Relationships

Laurie Bolin, Director of Development, 360 Communities
I joined 360 Communities as a staff member in December 2007, however, I started as a volunteer with the organization over 24 years ago when I was the chair of the Lewis House Charity Golf Tournament. As the Director of Development for 360 Communities, I oversee all of the fundraising for the organization. For me, my job is about building relationships with individuals and business leaders in the community. As a member of the Chamber, I am offered many opportunities to network. It also allows me to share 360 Communities' story of serving our neighbors with healthy food and other stabilizing resources, assisting victims of domestic violence and sexual assault and helping kids succeed in school. We could not do our work in the community without the partnerships we have with the business community. Businesses have been so generous with their support of our work, and together we are making our community a better place to live and work!
