Greetings neighbors,
School is back in session and summer is almost over, but we've had a lovely and eventful summer and hope you have, too.
Since our last newsletter, we completed our third year of our free
Yoga in the Park series, with local instructor Denise Mercado leading the August sessions. Thank you to Denise, Lorrie Nichols, Lynn Demetrakis, and Kathyrn Livingston for generously leading this year's classes from May through August. We look forward to resume sessions next year!
Next, we partied with our friends and neighbors at the
Bogota Block Party that we co-hosted with the kind and generous people of Bogart Memorial Reformed Church. They've got a new community art center in the works, along with interesting events and programming so please check them out.
Lastly, we're excited to discuss new and upcoming project ideas including an initiative with ArtsBergen, and others. Our last meeting was so vibrant thanks to 20+ attendees contributing their voices and ideas, and we look forward to see what we create together with you at our next meeting.
