AgriSafe Hosts Webinar on Farm Flood Health Threats 

In the wake  of recent flooding in Texas and Louisiana, AgriSafe has a webinar on "Safe and Healthy Recovery After a Farm Flood."  Due to the  support of CHS Foundation, AgriSafe  will continue to allow free access to this webinar for those in need. Please continue to share this resource as we keep those in recovery in our thoughts.

September 5th is N95 Day & Beyond! 


NIOSH and  The National Personal Protective Technology Laboratory (NPPTL) has approved the annual observance of N95 Day. The day will include a webinar,  September 5th, 1PM Eastern/12Pm Central and additional activities on social media.  To register for the webinar, click here

New Research! Rural Children's Oral Health & Improving Rural Oral Health

The South Carolina Rural Health Research Center at the Arnold School of Public Health, University of South Carolina is pleased to announce the release of two findings briefs on rural oral health.  These reports, as well as additional resources, are available on their website or can be accessed  through the links below.

Rural Health Information Hub (@RuralHealthInfo) and Co-hosts from several ag health and safety organizations, participated in an online Twitter Chat August 24. Carolyn Sheridan RN, BSN- AgriSafe Clinical Director answered key questions during the 1 hour chat. With agriculture being one of the most dangerous occupations in America, farmers and farmworkers face a variety of hazards on the job and may also have a more difficult time accessing necessary medical care in a timely manner.
