A Message From Our President
It's September and that means back to school! It also means that our support groups will be resuming, so join us at a September meeting! September also means it is just about time for our first ever
Lights! Camera! Autism! Art and Film Festival on Saturday, September 23rd. This event will feature autistic artists, and films both made by and about people with autism. Tickets are still available and the link to purchase is below, so be sure to get yours today!
You can also join us this month for our Fall Family Camp! This fun family event will be held at Camp Marston in the beautiful hills of Julian on weekend of September 29 - October 1st. Feel free to bring grandma and grandpa, your respite worker, or whoever you need to make this weekend successful for your family, and know that you can relax in a welcoming judgment-free atmosphere.
Finally, we are looking forward to two great upcoming events this fall. Beers and Cheers for Autism will be held at Mike Hess Brewery in North Park on Thursday, October 12th and is always a wonderful time. Then on November 11th, we will be holding our second annual Walk 'N' Rock for Autism 5K and Resource Fair. You won't want to miss this chance to help raise funds for our recreational events while having a rocking good time! Choose the 5K or 1K option, or sign up as a virtual racer and stay sweat free! Whatever you choose, you're helping to make a difference in people's lives!

We will meet one Sunday per month from 10 AM - 1 PM at various beaches around the county, starting in April and running through September. The Autism Society San Diego is proud to present the first ever, "Lights! Camera! Autism!" art and film show this month! This is a celebration of the talents of many autistic and developmentally delayed young adults in our San Diego community who are learning valuable skills in the art music and film industry with an eye on future employment. It's Time for Fall Family Camp!
The YMCA of San Diego County Overnight Camps and Autism Society San Diego have teamed up to provide families who are part of the autism community with a fun weekend in the mountains of Julian. 2nd Annual Walk 'N' Rock for Autism
Join us for the second annual Walk 'N' Rock for Autism, on Saturday, November 11th, from 8 AM - 12 PM, at Cal State San Marcos. Choose from a 5K walk/run or a 1K fun run!
