NO, it's not really SEPTEMBER, is it?
And yet, each year seems to fly by faster!
Since summer is my favorite season, the only thing that makes up for the waning days is NEW YARN!! You might know just how I feel.....
These days, new yarns and new colors are trickling into the shop, and I am wildly swatching for new shop models and sample swatches to display.
I'm also preparing for the Annual Fiber Festival of New England!! Mark your calendars and try to head up to Eastern States Exposition on November 4th & 5th for a "fiber fix"! Lots to look at and some cool fiber-producing animals to pet.  Don't forget to stop by my booth.
We've got some fun classes for this fall, and will be adding some more as we get our class models finished. Off to knit!!
Hope to see you soon!

hat-of-the-month!
Something NEW for this Fall
Each of these hats is pretty on it's own, but each will also focus on a new technique!  A great way to learn something new on a small and manageable project!

    SEPTEMBER: imitation game hat

This cute and simple hat by Susan Ashcroft, is a great foray into slipped stitch pattern knitting. You  will lear n how to work from a chart, creating this pretty pattern that has the look of fair isle, but only uses one color per row. The  pattern , by Susan Ashcroft, calls for a two-color brim, but can be knit plain, too. The hat looks fantastic with a multicolor combined with a solid.

September 14 & 21   7-8:30 pm    $24

OCTOBER: molly hat
