'The Vietnam War' screening at Newtown Park
'The Vietnam War' screening

The City of Johns Creek hosted a screening of the upcoming PBS documentary series, The Vietnam War, on Aug. 18 at the Burkhalter Amphitheater in Newtown Park. The screening showed clips from the entire 10-part series, which is a new 18-hour documentary film series directed by Ken Burns and Lynn Novick. It is scheduled to premiere Sept. 17, 2017, on PBS stations nationwide, including Georgia Public Broadcasting (GPB), the statewide PBS network.
