Thank you for signing up for weekly updates on bond & override projects within SUSD. We are committed to transparency through this process, and we welcome your feedback. Like you, we can't wait to see our new schools go up and our existing schools improve.

In just a few shorts hours, we will officially cut the ribbon on the first of our bond projects, the new football fields at Coronado and Saguaro.

WEEKLY PROGRESS

On Monday, August 28, the Hopi Rebuild Committee reviewed exterior design options for the new school and gave its final input to architects. Final drawings, based on that input, are in the works and will be posted to bond.susd.org when complete.

On Friday, September 1, architects shared updated design plans with the Pima Rebuild Committee. Pima is now on the fast track to open its new classroom building next August, as is Hopi.

Finally, this week, as we prepare to celebrate our new fields at Coronado and Saguaro, we are already planning for the next field to open at Chaparral. Here is a look at crews installing the new turf there:
