Start-of-School Announcements
It was great to see you all at the Welcome Back events!
We have a little more information to share with you with in regard to our first day. Stella Maris Academy wishes all families a blessed holiday weekend and safe start of school!

FAQs

How do I access the Stella Maris Parent Portal?
Stella Maris Academy's Parent Portal, our student information system, used to connect registered families with our school community, will launch next week in conjunction with the start of school. The portal provides access to day-to-day information, events, volunteer activities, and student reports such as attendance, grades and connection with your students' teachers. Please watch for the link coming via email next week.

How do I place a hot lunch order?
There is no need to pre-order hot lunch. Teachers take hot lunch counts each morning and send the count to the main office. Payment for lunches can be made in one of two ways.  Parents can bring cash or check (made out to Stella Maris Academy)  to the school office or add funds to their student's hot lunch account by visiting  www.payforit.net . To sign up for Pay For It, parents should have received their student ID number at the Welcome Back events. If you did not, please contact the office to obtain their student's ID. All payments will be credited to each student's lunch account and the amount will be deducted for whichever days the students take hot lunch.

Reminder to Holy Rosary Campus Parents:
Hot Lunch will not be available at our Holy Rosary campus during the first week of school. The kitchen renovations should be completed by the second week of school.

With the beginning of every school year and new transportation routines, please keep in mind the following:

1) Be early to bus stops in the mornings
2) Be patient with drop off times - call the campus with any concerns
3) Student safety is most important - the times may be flexible the first week to ensure this safety.
4) All buses will be monitored to ensure students get on safely and correctly.
5) No Bus pick up?  Contact the main office.

For the safety of all of our students and families, please be mindful of the traffic flow at each campus. It can take a couple of weeks for all transportation logistics and pick-up/drop-off routines to be established.

*Parents dropping off and picking up at the Holy Rosary campus are asked to use the upper parking lot, particularly in the first few weeks of school, while the school bus flow is established. This will help ensure the safety for everyone.

Stella Maris extends gratitude
to our initial supporters

Do your have your Stella Maris Academy window decal?

Thanks to the generous donation by Father Ryan Moravitz, we have SMA window decals to add to car windows, outdoor windows, anywhere you want to show that you are a part of the Stella Maris Academy community. Decals are available in the campus offices. Pick up a few and share with your family, friends and neighbors. The funds provided by Fr. Moravitz also covered new banners displayed in each of the campus entry ways.

Stella Maris Academy has been blessed by inaugural donors.  Please share in our gratitude to the Benedictine Sisters of the St. Scholastica Monastery, an anonymous donor from the St. James parish and the CREED fund for tuition assistance funds and to the CREED fund for supporting ongoing development of our staff at the Catechetical trainings throughout the year and for the Catholic Liberal Arts conference experience.

Also, a special thank you to Mary Lou Jennings for her in-kind donations toward communication efforts for Stella Maris Academy.

If you are interested in giving in-kind or monetary donations to Stella Maris Academy, please contact Erin Makela in the Development Office for more information.
