It is the goal of Mount Union's
Sustainability Management Advisory Committee (SMAC) to meet the growing concern for sustainability on Mount Union's campus. Through education and communication, they facilitate awareness and action on campus as well as throughout the Alliance community.
You can take part in the Committee's efforts to create a sustainable, efficient and healthy atmosphere for students, faculty, and staff by becoming an
eco-rep or Green Raider. You can also participate in a number of
sustainability programs, such as RecycleMania and Game Day Challenge.
The Mount Union Green Raiders are a group of students who promote sustainability and environmental awareness on campus. They have hosted numerous competitions and events on campus such as America Recycles Day, Earth Hour, and Caught Green Handed.
