Cars, Bikes and Hover Boards
Are you planning to have a car on campus? Check out all the  information about parking and vehicles on campus. Visit the MyParking website and use your UMU username and password to log in and register your car to get your parking pass. There is no fee to register your car at Mount Union, but be sure to get familiar with the parking map regulations so you don't get a ticket!

Campus Security not only handles parking passes, but also is a wonderful resource on campus. Learn more about their services and campus security in general on their  website.

Cars aren't the only vehicles on campus, but there is one we don't allow anywhere on campus for safety and security reasons - hover boards - so be sure to leave those at home!

Many students do use bicycles to get to class, and there are plenty of bike racks on campus and even a bicycle service station outside the north entrance to the Engineering and Business building. Just bring your bike lock, and register your bike with Campus Security.

It is encouraged that all students put the Campus Safety and Security number (330-428-1344) in their phones. Do that now so you can quickly check this off your list before Fall Orientation!

Sustainability
It is the goal of Mount Union's  Sustainability Management Advisory Committee (SMAC) to meet the growing concern for sustainability on Mount Union's campus. Through education and communication, they facilitate awareness and action on campus as well as throughout the Alliance community.

You can take part in the Committee's efforts to create a sustainable, efficient and healthy atmosphere for students, faculty, and staff by becoming an  eco-rep or Green Raider. You can also participate in a number of  sustainability programs, such as RecycleMania and Game Day Challenge.

The Mount Union Green Raiders are a group of students who promote sustainability and environmental awareness on campus. They have hosted numerous competitions and events on campus such as America Recycles Day, Earth Hour, and Caught Green Handed.

To learn more about how you can  bleed purple and  live green, check out the University's  sustainability website.
