On May 29, Smart Commute MRH kicked off
Bike Month
with our
Bike to Work Day 2017
group ride. Throughout Bike Month (May 29 to June 30), Smart Commute MRH held a Bike Month contest, where our workplace employees were asked to log their cycling trips on the
Smart Commute Online Tool
for a chance to win one of two cycling repair kits!
From May 29 to June 30, 233 bike trips were logged within the Smart Commute MRH network, which equals a total distance of 1,789.9 km! Moreover, 363 kg of CO2 and $724.22 were saved, with 55,609 calories burned by all of our participants!
In addition to the Smart Commute MRH contest, Bike Month held their own contest where more than 3,000 people registered
for a chance to win one of three packages that included a MEC Midtown Bicycle and a $300 VIA Rail Voucher.
