CHAMBER EVENTS

The Chamber will be holding their yearly elections at the beginning of August. Once you receive your ballot, please make sure to get it back to our office no later than August 10th.

Executive Director Natalie Lamar will be on vacation starting August 7th and will return August 14th. If you need anything, make sure to call the office or contact your favorite board member.

The Richmond Area Chamber of Commerce will be hosting a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony on Friday August 25th at 10am at Special Needs Services of Ray County. Congressman Emanuel Cleaver will be in attendance. There will also be an Open House from 10-11am on that day. Come show your support for a new business in Richmond!

The Richmond Area Chamber of Commerce will be hosting a webinar on Wednesday August 30th at noon entitled

"Accessing Funding For Your Business"

This webinar is for members and non-members alike. If you know someone that is interested in this information, please pass it on!

~ Richmond Rotary will be hosting their weekly organizational meeting on Friday August 4th at the 19th Hole.

~ Grace Church will hold their Underground Youth Ministry Program on Sunday August at 6:30pm.

~ Ray County Library There will not be any children's, teen or family programs scheduled during the month of August. Programs will resume the week of September 11.

~ Oak Pointe of Richmond will offer FREE Blood Pressure screenings on Wednesday August 9th from 1pm-3pm

~The Ray County Health Department will be a hosting "Teen Encounter" on Wednesday August 9th from noon to 2pm and 2:30-4:30pm.

~ Bridge of Hope will be hosting "Teen Encounter-A Discussion On Relationships" on August 9th from 12-2 and 2:30-4:30.

~Richmond Recreation is hosting Twilight Swim at Southview Pool on August 10th from 7:30-10:30pm. The pool will close for repairs for the season on August 13th, 2017.

~Orscheln Farm and Home will be hosting Blade Sharpening from 10a-2p on Saturday August 12th.

~World Wrestling League will be at the Community Gym on Saturday August 12th.

~Ray County Memorial Hospital Gift Shop will hold its monthly 20% off sale on Friday August 18th.

~Central Missouri Community Credit Union will host "Manage Your Debt So It Doesn't Manage You" on Saturday August 19th from 10-11am and August 21st from 6-7pm in Warrensburg, MO.

~The Ray County Museum and Ag-Power of Richmond are both hosting public Eclipse parties at their respective locations. Watch here for more information!
