Cincinnati has been heating up in the last few weeks of August . . . and Impact 100 has also been heating up.  Why?  

Because we are only weeks away from the Annual Awards Celebration, when Impact 100 will award three grants of $109,000 each.  These grants will enable three organizations to do a breakthrough, transformational project.  And we are able to give these grants ONLY because we have wonderful, passionate members who are committed to making a difference in our community.
  

Each of our five Finalists has proposed an amazing project that has the potential to make a lasting impact in our community.  Our Finalists and the projects they have proposed are (in the order they established):

Price Hill Will - proposing the MY Cincinnati ("Music for Youth") program - selected to represent the Culture Focus Area

Community Matters - proposing the Washing Well Program - selected to represent the Health & Wellness Focus Area

Cincinnati Community ToolBank - proposing the Delivery Truck and Trailer Program - selected to represent the Environment, Preservation and Recreation Focus Area

Literacy Network of Greater Cincinnati - proposing the Basic Literacy Program Expansion: Adult and Children - selected to represent the Education Focus Area

Welcome House of Northern Kentucky - proposing the Ride-N-Seek Program - Employment Services - selected to represent the Family Focus Area

It will be extremely difficult for our members to select only three of these programs to fund - since all of them are very strong candidates.  Because they are all so strong, I'm absolutely convinced that the three programs that are selected will have a positive Impact in our community. 

I hope you can join us for the Annual Awards Celebration (AAC) on September 16th. This event is the culmination of the Impact 100 year - the opportunity for you to hear from the Finalists, cast your vote, network and enjoy other Impact 100 members, enjoy a delicious dinner, and see which organizations receive our 2014 Grant Awards. 

The Annual Awards Celebration is also a wonderful opportunity to invite your friends and colleagues who may be interested in learning more about Impact 100 and potentially becoming new members.  This event is the absolute best opportunity to see Impact 100 in action.  And if we increase our membership contribution to $400,000 - next year we can award 4 transformational grants!  Please help us IMPACT MORE with FOUR in 2015.

If you are unable to attend the Annual Awards Celebration on September 16th, please vote via absentee ballot.  We want all of our members to vote!!

Impact 100 member grows, spreads philanthropic values to young members 

Many of you have been loyal members of Impact 100 for a number of years. We thank you and welcome our newest members! We count on our devoted members to enable us to give grants. If you plan to continue to be a member, choosing to be a Sustaining Member makes an ongoing commitment to Impact 100. You automatically recommit each year - which means less mail, and uninterrupted status as an Impact 100 Member.
