Summer challenging your body? Here are two helpful recipes to get you bouncing again.
After-Sun Spray:
1/2 cup of distilled water or hydrosol
2 Tablespoons of aloe vera gel
15 drops of
Lavender essential oil
10 drops of
Peppermint essential oil
Combine ingredients into a 4 oz spritzer bottle. Shake well and use as needed. Store in refrigerator for that extra cooling effect.
After-Sun Soothing Body Oil:
20 drops of Lavender essential oil
15 drop of Eucalyptus essential oil
10 drops of Marjoram essential oil
*4 oz of sweet almond oil or jojoba (or combination)
Add essential oils to a dark *4oz bottle. Add in the sweet almond and/or jojoba oil. Rub in cir
cular motions all-over body - especially good after a shower. Apply it to restart your body from summer activities or minor muscle aches.
