Kulanu is the place to meet Jewish kids from the entire community, learn about their Jewish heritage & values and explore their Jewish roots!
Taught by great Rabbis and teachers, Kulanu meets on
Tuesday nights throughout the year from
7:00-9:00 pm. This year we will meet at

Taste of Kulanu takes place during Trimester 2 at Kulanu School of Jewish Studies
. 8 weeks of exploration of your Jewish roots through exciting interactive electives.

The
Legacy Heritage Better Together Program is a year-long program designed to encourage meaningful interaction between young and old.
Students from grades 8-12, will be participating with
Seashore Gardens Living Center on 8 Sundays throughout the year, culminating with a festive gala celebration.
Each month, students and seniors will engage in activities and conversation, such as cooking, dance, art and film. Through Jewish text, they will also come to appreciate our rich tradition of respect for our elderly population.
Students chosen for this program will leave with a Certificate of Completion and, up to,
20 community service hours.

Noogieland MITZVAH CLOWNS @ Gilda's Club South Jersey
Learn the art and techniques of being a
clown from Lori Stranges, Noogieland Program Manager at Gilda's Club of South Jersey. This 6-session program will qualify you to become a
Mitzvah Clown, equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary for
bikkur cholim (visiting the sick), elderly, and those in need.
Part of the program will take place at Gilda's Club's Noogieland, visiting and entertaining children, ages 3-14, affected by cancer.

Morim Teacher Prep is a long established program that teaches the philosophy and techniques needed to become a Jewish educator. At the end of the course, graduates will receive a
Certificate of Completion which can help get them a job teaching, assisting or being part of a synagogue school, JCC or youth group. We are happy to help graduates make connections in their college community.
This course is a prerequisite for all Kulanu Madrichim.

Each year, Kulanu sponsors a
3-day program to
Washington DC which fosters community leadership, advocacy and philanthropy. Participants return home with a greater understanding of and deeper feeling for their place in the democratic system as American citizens, as young people and as Jews.
DC Advocacy is open to 10th & 11th graders at Kulanu.

TEEN TRAVEL TO ISRAEL Stipends
Our Jewish Federation feels so strongly in the importance of fostering a close relationship with the land of Israel that they provide generous Stipends and incentive grants to any qualifying Kulanu student who travels on a qualifying trip to Israel.
Students must be in 10th-12th grade and attend Kulanu School of Jewish Studies through graduation (11th grade) with a good attendance rate.
JEWISH SUMMER CAMP SCHOLARSHIPS
Jewish summer camp provides a foundation for a lifelong love of Judaism,
where activities & friendships combine with Jewish values, role models and culture.
The Jewish Federation Foundation provides need-based grants to all those who qualify.
Students in grades 7th-11th must attend Kulanu School of Jewish Studies through graduation (11th grade) with a good attendance rate.
