Women's Bible Studies

This Bible study is for women of all ages.  It is "Discerning the Voice of God" by Priscilla Shirer.  Books are $10.00.
              Having a hard time knowing what God is saying versus what others are saying? This Bible study is designed to help participants know the voice of God: His language, character, and tone of voice. By growing closer to God through His Word, participants will be able to discern God's voice from the voice of strangers.

Children's Ministry Organizational Meeting
If you are interested in helping with the Children's Ministry this fall, please attend an organizational meeting on Monday, August 14th at 5:30 PM in the Fellowship Hall.

Prayer Breakfast
Our prayer breakfast program will start on Friday, September 8th.  We provide a breakfast feast for our Dadeville High School students, but more importantly, we pray for them and with them. Please make plans to join us and help out where you can:  set up at 5:30 AM, serve at 6:30 AM, and clean-up at 7:00 AM.  Future prayer breakfasts will be held at our church on September 29th and October 27th.
Women's Bible Studies

We will be sharing together Sharon Jaynes' book, "Take Hold of the Faith you Long for"...Let Go, Move Forward, Live Bold.  Books are $9.13.
          God is the path to living boldly, bravely, and beautifully and we are challenged to let go of our weaknesses and trade them for God's strengths.  The book is filled with biblical depth, relatable stories, and practical strategies.  It is a declaration of truth and freedom for every battle-worn believer. Each chapter has a Bible Study Guide intended to take you deeper into God's Word to discover more about how to take hold of the faith you long for. 

Church Fun Day
Plans in the making for a Church Fun Day to be held Sunday, September 24th at Camp Ascca.  Festivities will begin at 1:00 PM.  Stay tuned for more information!

School Supplies Needed
2 OPPORTUNITIES TO HELP LOCAL CHILDREN WITH SCHOOL SUPPLIES!

First, Lake Martin Community Hospital presents FILL THE BUS School Supply Drive!  Join in supporting our schools and help fill up an entire school bus with supplies to help children of our community achieve the education they deserve!  Supply lists are posted on the bus as well as on the Hospital Facebook page.  Monetary donations are also accepted by calling (256) 749-5806.  The bus is located at the old Piggly Wiggle parking lot.

Second, the Boys & Girls Ranches of Alabama are asking for support of their Ranch Back to School Program.  They are asking for monetary donations to purchase everything from classroom supplies to clothes and shoes.  With the Tallapoosa County Sheriff's Girls Ranch in Camp Hill, you may wish to donate to help each student be fully prepared for a successful school year ahead.  Donations may be mailed to PO Box 240009, Montgomery, AL 36177-7655.
