Join Team Noam at The Friendship Circle Walk
Dear Parents,
The Friendship Circle is a very important organization in our community. Yeshivat Noam students in particular have participated in and benefited from The Friendship Circle programming.
Sunday, September 17th is the
Annual Friendship Circle Walk. While it is a fun, family friendly event, more importantly, it is an opportunity to show our love and support for the families benefiting from The Friendship Circle and our appreciation for the wonderful work of this organization.
Schedule:
10:00 am- Registration and t-shirt pick up
10:40 am- Opening Ceremony
11:00 am- Walk begins around Votee Park

Bat Mitzvah Project Benefitting Renewal
Dear Yeshivat Noam, For my Bat Mitzvah project I am raising money for Renewal, a Jewish organization that helps people with kidney problems find kidney donors. I chose this particular organization because my father found a kidney donor in only three days after meeting with them. Renewal found an amazing man whose kidney was a great match for my dad. We were so grateful for this miracle. The surgery was a success, but unfortunately my dad passed away shortly after due to complications following the surgery. The money raised will be used to transport the donors if they live far away. It's also used to help promote awareness for kidney donation. Kidney donation saves lives and it is a huge mitzvah!
Please click here to donate to this worthy cause that has such a special place in my heart. This mitzvah is in honor and memory of my dad, Jordan Levy, z''l. Thank you!
Sincerely, Mattea Levy

Bat Mitzvah Project Collecting Children's Books for Houston
Hi, my name is Sara Mirwis. I was born in Houston, Texas. I moved with my family to Teaneck 5 years ago (when my older siblings were headed to Yeshiva University). My family lived in Houston for 17 years. We lived in the Young Israel neighborhood. My dad still works there and commutes every week. I am SO SO SAD because of the hurricane. So many people and friends I know have been flooded and have lost all of their things : (
I decided that for my Bat Mitzvah I will collect as many children's books as possible and send them with my dad each week to the different neighborhoods and schools. That way all of the children of Houston can have books to read (and hopefully also keep them a little distracted from the sadness around them).
If you can donate a new or like new children's book you can help me with this project.
My mom said she can pick up from anyone's home if they need (her cell: 713-545-3684). OR, you can drop it on our front porch as well (1270 Fayette Street).
Thank you for reading this and thank you if you are able to help the children in Houston.
