Federal Savings Bank President and CEO, James J. Cardiologists Join Wentworth-Douglass Hospital
Wentworth-Douglass Hospital and Wentworth Health Partners are happy to announce that cardiologists Mark Jacobs, MD, and Whitney Coppolino, MD, are joining the staff at Wentworth-Douglass Hospital and will be providing services in Portsmouth at Wentworth Health Partners Cardiology at Pease, located at Wentworth-Douglass at Pease.

Dr. Jacobs is a board-certified cardiologist with more than 30 years of experience in invasive, noninvasive and clinical cardiology. He is board certified in echocardiography and nuclear cardiology and is a fellow of the American Society of Echocardiography and the American College of Cardiology. He is also on the Board of Trustees for the Foundation for Seacoast Health. Dr. Coppolino is board-certified in cardiology and internal medicine.She is fellowship trained in both cardiovascular disease (at Hofstra North Shore - Long Island Jewish Health System) and women's heart health (at Massachusetts General Hospital). She specializes in noninvasive cardiology, echocardiography and women's heart health.

Pellman Receives Spirit of Caring Award
Nick Pellman of the financial services firm Edward Jones in Dover recently won the firm's exclusive Spirit of Caring Award designed to recognize those financial advisors who exemplify the values, culture and spirit of giving back.   Jim Weddle, the firm's managing partner, calls Pellman a leader in the firm and an example of what a dedicated Edward Jones financial advisor can achieve.

Register Now for the 2017 Citizens' Leadership Academy
The Greater Dover Chamber of Commerce and the City of Dover partner to offer local residents a closer look at their community through the Dover Citizens' Leadership Academy. This program will increase citizens' knowledge of the Dover community and introduce them to opportunities to become more involved as active leaders in the community.

The Citizens' Leadership Academy will feature discussions about local government and municipal operations and will introduce Dover citizens to opportunities to engage in shaping the future of our city by volunteering to join with others and participate as a member of one of many city boards, commissions and civic organizations.

Rochester Opera House Selected as Beneficiary
The Rochester Opera House, a nonprofit committed to bringing quality entertainment to the region, has been selected as a beneficiary of the  Hannaford  Cause Bag program for the month of September. 

The Rochester Opera House was selected by Hannaford store leadership as the September beneficiary of the program at the Hannaford store on North Main Street, next to Home Depot. For every Hannaford Helps reusable bag with the "good karma message" purchased at the North Main Street Hannaford, during the month of September, The Rochester Opera House will receive a $1 donation.

Children's Museum Hosts 5th Annual Maker Faire
The brilliance on display at The New Hampshire Children's Museum  almost outshone the sunny skies, as the fifth annual Mini-Maker Faire was held inside the museum and on the grounds.
Amazing displays of innovation and technology took place, most of which included hands-on activities for children of all ages.

Jane Bard, museum president, said the fair celebrates the tradition of creativity, learning, invention and innovation. She said there were 65 participants from across the Seacoast, with 23 booths being newly added this year.
