Standing Strong with Members Affected by Hurricane Harvey
Our hearts are with our members, their families, and all those who experienced the devastating effects of Hurricane Harvey. We are thankful for the lifesaving efforts of first responders and good samaritans. Knowing that we are stronger through association,
NIA has compiled a list of national and local charities that members can choose from to support those that need our help.
We have received calls and emails asking about the safety of member company employees in the path of this historic storm, along with offers of assistance for fellow NIA members. We have created a
Hurricane Harvey Update web page on Insulation.org to share information publicly about the status of member company operations, safety of personnel, immediate needs, donation information, plus more. Please send updates you would like to share to

Fall Summit Will Not Be Held in September
In the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey, the Fall Summit meeting site, the George R. Brown Convention Center, is currently an Emergency Center for those displaced by the storm. After discussing the situation with Houston authorities and NIA's Executive Committee,
NIA's Fall Summit will not be held September 12-13. Our primary concern is for the safety of our attendees and to allow the city time to recover. New details will be available soon.

NIA's Next Energy Appraisal Certification Course Will Be Held in the Fall
The Fall Insulation Energy Appraisal Program (IEAP) training course that was scheduled to take place immediately following NIA's Fall Summit in Houston has been postponed and dates are to be determined. If you are interested in attending a future class, email
