Happy Labor Day Weekend!
We hope to see many of our friends, family and congregation members at service this Sunday. It is our last 9 am service before we head into our fall worship on September 10th with an 8:30 am (Traditional) and 10 am (Contemporary with Sunday School) services. Join Us on Rally Sunday!
Wherever you are this holiday weekend, be safe and enjoy your last hooray of fun before all schools are back in fall session.

Hurricane Harvey Relief
Dear friends,
Hurricane Harvey, one of the most powerful storms to hit the United States in years, threatening millions of our neighbors in Texas and Louisiana with heavy rain, wind and rising tides.
The National Hurricane Center called the storm's effects "life-threatening, devastating and catastrophic" and predicted long periods of rain and flooding, along with massive power outages. While many have evacuated, significant damage is the aftermath, and thousands of people may be housed in shelters for extended periods of time.
We have an opportunity to accompany our neighbors during and after this disaster, in Jesus Christ's name.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED OR THIS EVENT WILL BE CANCELLED.
SPLC would like to have a presence at Wyoming Stagecoach Days. This is a great way to put our name out into the community. We are not having the Fall Festival this year so this will be our community presence. Help with set-up, work a two-hour shift, or tear down.

Table talk is an adult education opportunity here at St. Paul Lutheran combining food, God talk, and fellowship. This last year we taught small groups (limited to 10) how to cook a 30-40 min meal, then engaged a TED (technology, education and design) talk or other short presentation, exploring life and faith together.
