La Liaison is currently collecting donations to aid victims of Hurricane Harvey in Houston. NOLA Tree Project is collecting gift cards to distribute in person to the victims. If you would like to help, please drop off any of the following gift cards to either Patton or Johnson campuses: Visa, AMEX, Home Depot, Lowes, Target or Wal-Mart and gas cards. You can drop the gift cards to the front office now through Tuesday (Sept. 5th). Any denomination that you are able to donate is greatly appreciated.

We are proud to be partnering with the Junior League of New Orleans Diaper Bank to help those affected by the devastating flooding of Hurricane Harvey. There is an overwhelming need of diapers (size 3 and up are in greatest demand), wipes, diaper creme and tampons. Diapers can be loose or in an open bag, they do not have to be newly purchased. There will be collection bins outside of the office hallways at both the Johnson and Patton Street locations beginning Tuesday morning (Sept. 5th)

If you send your child in with your donation, please let them know where the collection boxes will be located. Please help us in collecting these necessities for our friends in Texas.

If you have any questions, or need any additional information, please email Kathleen Ramsey at [email protected], or Kelly Galjour [email protected]
Activities will run September 11 - December 1 at both campuses. Homework centers will run September 11 - May 11.

The Enrichment Catalogue is available at www.lfno.org/afterschool-enrichment/ and first round registration will begin on  Saturday, September 2 at 10:00AM - online at  lfno.campbrainregistration.com.

Families must pay any LFNO outstanding balances in order for children to participate in Enrichment.

Discounts are available for families that have qualified for Free or Reduced Lunch, as well as for families registered for unlimited aftercare by August 31. Discount codes will be provided via email.
On "Independence Day" we ask parents to allow children, even those in Pre-K and K to demonstrate their independence by walking into the building unescorted. Of course, for those special needs cases, parents are still permitted to walk their children to their classrooms. Parents who walk their children to the State St. gate should give them a kiss at the gate and send them off to another great day at the Lycee! The sooner we get children accustomed to routines, the sooner instruction can begin in a safe and orderly way.

We will be sending the confirmation letters from the Healthy School Food Collaborative via your child's backpacks this week, so please make sure to check and keep the letter for your records. All statuses will have been updated in Lycee's database, and all balances from now on should reflect any change in your status. If you have any questions about you status letter, please reach out to [email protected].
Due to delay in processing Free and Reduced Lunch applications, After Care Registration will remain open through Monday, September 4th. We still expect to be able to send discount codes for Enrichment Registration this weekend.

The French Army was the first to use camouflage in 1915 (World War I) - the word camouflage came from the French verb 'to make up for the stage'. Guns and vehicles were painted by artists called camofleurs .

By using refillable water bottles, our staff and students have saved a total of 72,565 from the landfill.
