Sunday Choir

All are invited to join! We start up September 7th, practicing Wednesdays 7-8:30 pm at my home, and Sundays 9am in the UU Sanctuary.
If you like to sing, we welcome you to our choir. This is a volunteer group; some of us are highly skilled and some of us are beginners. Whatever level you are, you will find joy, camaraderie, fun music and healing. There are also solo opportunities for advanced singers and a special opportunity to join us even if Wednesday nights are not possible for you. Music brings us together and singing is especially good for the spirit, mind and body. If you are tired after your busy week, singing in our choir will bring peace and joy into your life. So please join us!

New Women's Spirituality Group
Rise Up and Call Her Name

Beginning on Friday, September 8, Rise Up and Call Her Name will meet from 10:00 am to 12 noon in the Gallery at the UU Fellowship.  This is a Woman-honoring Journey of self-empowerment and personal encounter with Global Earth-based Spiritualities based on the Unitarian Universalist curriculum that weaves together worldwide spiritual stories honoring female divinities. There will be five 2-hour Friday sessions: three on September 8 - 22 followed by a two week break and the remaining two on Oct. 13 and 20. This is not drop-in; a commitment to attend all five sessions is requested.  Sliding scale contribution $20 to $30 for all sessions.  All meetings will be held in the Gallery at the UU Fellowship.  The group will be led by MagalĂ Morales, a counselor with 17 years' experience leading groups for women and girls on emotional healing, empowerment and spiritual exploration.  She is currently at work on a book about the resurgence of the divine feminine.  The group is limited to 12 women; there are currently 8 women signed up so there are four slots still available.
Please contact Laurie Stanley at [email protected] to sign-up.
