Goodbye Summer     

Thank you to all who participated in our 2017 Summer Sports Camps, Summer Day Camps and Summer Arts & Recreation Summer Camps.  
We had a whopping 3,332 children in our camps!

We are seeking vendors of dog-related products and services, as well as dog-related non-profit organizations for participation in the All American Dog Show.

Fall Session A begins the week of September 11, with adult classes in  watercolor painting, a variety of ceramics instruction for all levels and mixed media, and youth classes in ceramics, drawing and painting! Register online or call 704-896-8823 for more information.

Drop-In Art is back! Ages 2 and up can join us for one or more mixed-media projects adaptable to any age. Children 5 and up may be dropped off; 4 and under must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Register online or pay at the door, $5 per child per hour. Mondays and Thursdays, 10:00 am-12:00 pm, beginning September 11.
 
Join us on Friday, September 15, 6:00-8:00 pm, for the opening reception of our new gallery show Mud at the Mill. This collaborative exhibition with Carolina Clay Matters Inc. Ceramics Guild will feature both functional and sculptural pottery. Don't miss this opportunity to view and purchase pieces created by 30 local ceramic artists, including some of our own CAC instructors and students. Mud at the Mill will be on exhibit at the center September 11 - October 26.

Cleaning Supplies IMPORTANT NOTICE: The Cornelius Arts Center will be closed August 27 - September 10. The center will reopen for business on Monday, September 11, at 9:00 am.

:  Thursday or Saturday mornings. Beginner and intermediate morning classes. Join the current session that just began or register for the classes that start in October.

Senior Fit Club  - Pick two or three mornings per week, Mondays, Wednesdays and/or Fridays, starting September 18.

Couch-to-5K - This running plan was created for beginners, designed to help you transform you sedentary lifestyle into an active one. Also great for experienced runners looking for some structure. Tuesday and Thursday evenings, starting October 3.

Cornelius Youth Orchestras: Join a free rehearsal any Tuesday in September, at Bailey Road Rec Center
Lake Norman Bridge Center : All ages and skill levels are welcome to learn the game or develop existing skills. Offered various days at Cornelius Town Hall.
Art

LAKE NORMAN TEEN COUNCIL

Teen Council 150 Join the  Lake Norman Teen Council , make new friends and have something fun to do that looks great on your college application! This member-governed organization offers service projects, trips and workshops. Our first meeting of the school year is September 12.
