Summer News 2017 
All Saints is blessed to welcome some very experienced and exceptional new teachers to its faculty--some of whom are returning to All Saints. Get to know them in the profiles below. 

Treena Leecost, M.S. - Assistant Principal 
Ms. Treena Leecost has over 20 years experience as a middle school math and science teacher and assistant principal in Richmond and Henrico, including a year at All Saints before she moved to Georgia for several years. She has been awarded "Dedicated School Administrator" and "Teacher of the Year" twice. Read more HERE.


Shana Williams - P.E. & Technology
Not only  does Ms. Williams have fifteen years of experience in Richmond and Henr ico Public Sch ools, she is a two-time Olympian in the long jump. Recently, she was inducted into the ECAC Hall of Fame. Read more HERE.
 


Amanda Patterson, M.Ed. - Kindergarten
Mrs. Amanda Patterson grew up in Midlothian and received her master's in education from the University of Richmond. She spent four years as a kindergarten teacher in Chesterfield County and was nominated to be the kindergarten team leader. Her references commend her for her classroom management skills and differential instruction for children of different development levels.  Read more HERE.


Valerie Steward McLaughlin, Second Grade 
This will be Mrs. McLaughlin's 14th year teaching--some of those years were spent teaching second grade right here at All Saints (2006 to 2008).  A family relocation took her to Australia; however, she is back in the States and she reports she is excited to return to All Saints! Read more HERE.



Ashley Sigrest, Ph.D. - Middle School Math (Grades 6, 7, 8) 
Mrs. S igrest spent 16+ years in Information Technology before pursuing a career in teaching. She reports she loves helping kids develop a passion for math. Read more HERE.



Other Faculty Updates
  • Grades pre-K-3 will enjoy weekly craft time with Mrs. Mary Miskimon.  Children should look forward to bringing craft projects home regularly.  
  • Mrs. Angela Fields joins All Saints as the new pre-K aide. Mrs. Fields has over 20 years of experience of working with children, including 10 years as the pre-K and kindergarten instructional assistant at Luther Memorial.
  • Mrs. Bryant-Graves will continue to teach 3rd and 4th grade math along with 4th grade science and religion.  She will also teach 5th grade math.  Mrs. Bialkowski will teach 4th grade Language Arts and serve as Middle School team leader.
  • In addition to teaching 3rd grade and art for grades 4 to 8, Mr. Binford will teach World History I for high school credit to 8th grade.  Mr. Binford is certified to teach in each of these areas and is excited to have a diverse teaching assignment.

All Saints Summer Camp
Students reporting having a great time at All Saints first week-long summer camp the week of June 12th. Students made crafts, played games, and went on field trips. We hope to offer it again for more students next year.
