Volume 5  Issue 1
Scouting Volunteers,

Our sincere thanks to each of you for heeding the call to help with your Units Popcorn Campaign!  Your District Kernel and Council staff are here to help you make this year's Popcorn Campaign as fun, easy and stress-free as possible.

This week, "What's Poppin" is focused on two things- tips for how you can make the most of your Popcorn inventory this Fall, and where you can pick up your Popcorn.
Here are some tips to make your popcorn inventory work for your Unit
  • Location, Location, Location: Find a safe, family-oriented and highly visible location to conduct your Units Show n' Sell
  • Door-to-Door Blitz: Encourage your families to work together, choose a weekend or two and a "Door-to-Door" sale goal, and go for it! We know that when teams of Scouts work together toward goals, they inevitably see much better results.
  • Transfer Form: Use the Council Transfer Form to request more popcorn, or request that your popcorn be transferred to another Unit in need of more! You can find the form at www.dmvc.org/popcorn

And here's the list of Popcorn Warehouse Distribution Locations
  • Cecil District: 10 Montgomery Dirve, Unit #6, North East MD 21901
