Saturday, October 7th for the Grog's 10th Annual Charity Chili Cook-off and Craft Beer Festival.
The 10th Annual Charity Chili Cook-Off & Craft Beer Festival features Newburyport area restaurants in the Northshore's most creative chili competition and a craft beer fest showcasing local and regional craft breweries and cideries. Co-sponsored by The Tannery Marketplace, proceeds from the event benefit three local food pantries - Our Neighbor's Table in Amesbury, The Pettengill House in Salisbury and Community Services of Newburyport. We have proudly donated over $100K to charity over the last 10 years. The festival is open to all ages and includes local live entertainment.

What a beautiful summer it has been so far! Come in to see what is new at Sisters this month!!
We would like to welcome Amesbury's Shannon Malloy from Shannon Mary Sunshine Company who hand designs scarves. She creates beautiful abstract designs with interesting colors.
We would also like to welcome another local artist Andrea De Monaco jewelry designer from Haverhill. She weaves beautiful Peyote beaded bracelets, creating intricate portrait designs of David Bowie, Thelma Todd as well as a seahorse, a lion and much much more. She also makes Lariat necklaces with shells and pearls on black leather.
Tina Fazio is an oil painter and a mixed media artist from Plaistow, NH. She paints flowers and scenery. Her mixed media pieces are ornaments and wall hangings.
Local artist Ingrid Regina is now making her dream birds as individuals she sells as birds in a bag. Michelle Julian brought us two more framed floor cloths. One is a waterfront scene from Newburyport in 1765 as well as a framed Gray Diamond piece.
Bonnie Anderson makes colorful painted wood mosaics. She brought in a new mirror and new wall pieces. Mary Bowles and Kerri Bromberger brought in their sailor blossoms and more shell night lights.
Jacki Harrington made a new presses plant material art piece with birch trees called 'Spring in the Woods'.

Summer's almost over but you can always summon your inner mermaid. Sara Hunter, who is not a mermaid, makes the most gorgeous and whimsical mermaid pottery we've ever seen. It's so wonderful that we now get work from her each month. Come in and see her lovely ladies for yourself.
And if you're not really into the whole mermaid thing (there might be one or two of you), then check out her wet and wild Sea Turtle pieces. They'll put a smile on your face. They sure put smiles on ours!

Newburyport Choral Society (NCS) singer registration may be your chance to finally give it a try! We accept singers from high school age and up, and of all musical skill levels. NCS offers singers many opportunities to deepen their music appreciation and practice vocal technique.
