CRE Summer Update!
Summer Greetings to our Clover Ridge Community!

It's hard to believe that August is here and in no time, another great school year will begin! We hope that you are enjoying your summer with family and friends!

We hope this email finds you well and excited for the upcoming year. This email will serve as our primary mode of communication along with our website and social media. Shortly after receiving this email, you will be receiving an additional email with a link to this E-Newletter. If you only receive one of the emails, please contact the office to ensure your information is updated and accurate. Paper copies will be available upon request.

This is a BIG year for Clover Ridge! Many new faces will be joining our community of learners and we couldn't be more excited! More than 450 students will be experiencing Clover Ridge for the very first time. We have hosted some events to help with that transition last spring and have additional upcoming events that will help as well.

Please note that Back to School letters will be sent the week of August 14th with important information regarding the year including class placement, important forms to be completed, and useful information. This communication will be sent electronically only. If you wish to receive paper copies, please contact the office.

School Supplies
The Clover Ridge School Supply List can be found on our website under NEWS or OUR School. There is also a program offering support for back to school supplies through Love INC. Please see flier for details.

In addition to individual student supplies, community supplies for the classrooms are needed. Several years ago, our district asked that we remove general supplies from each student's supply list.  Unfortunately, this has created a need for additional supplies.  These are supplies that teachers use throughout the year.  Please consider sending some of the following supplies to your child's homeroom teacher: tissues, Clorox Wipes, paper plates, Zip Lock Bags (gallon/quart/sandwich), plastic utensils, and paper towels.  Your participation is completely optional.  Thanks for your consideration and generosity.

Parent Teacher Organization (PTO)
We have a very strong and active Parent Teacher Organization at Clover Ridge! They plan fantastic family activities and raise money that directly supports your child's educational experience. Historically, they have financially supported technology initiatives, field trips, personalized learning initiatives, and supplies that teachers couldn't otherwise afford. Your child benefits directly from the work that the PTO does,  but it takes the time and talents of parents to make it all possible. Your support and active participation is needed! Please see the attachment for opportunities and areas of interest! We would be happy to get you connected and involved!
