CP CANADA 150
TRAIN EVENT
Chugga chugga choo choo! On Friday, August 4 from 5:00PM - 8:00PM, the CP Canada 150 Train will be stationed at the Southdale Community Centre at 254 Lakewood Boulevard to host a free concert by some of Canada's best musical performers, including Juno award winner Dean Brody. Come add your own dream for Canada's future to the
Spirit of Tomorrow train car as it makes its way across our great nation, finishing with a display in Ottawa! Visit the Children's Museum's tent to make your own pictographic conductor hat featuring our very own 9161 locomotive, take your photo in one of our engineer costumes, and have an off the rails good time!

EXPLORE-ABILITIES MORNING
AUGUST 12, 2017
The second event in our 2017 Explore-Abilities Access Program will be the Explore-Abilities Morning on Saturday, August 12. Join us for a sensory-friendly museum experience designed for children with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) and sensory processing differences to have fun and enjoy interactive, hands-on learning in a safe and accessible facility! Registration is required for this event. Space is limited and available on a first come, first serve basis.

Graffiti Gallery from 12:00PM - 2:00PM daily as we create an exciting collaborative diorama, showcasing our very own adventure scenes. Meet our friends from the
Winnipeg Public Library on August 17, and take part in your own bookmaking craft. Celebrate the spirit of teamwork with our museum hosted crafts and activities! The festival runs from August 15-18 from 11:00AM - 3:00PM daily.

This summer, experience
Run! Jump! Fly! Adventures In Action™ - a travelling exhibition filled with action-packed fun for all! This heart-pumping exhibition invites guests to explore action-adventure scenes where they can jump into Action Star Training. Adventure Scenes include Surf & Snow Boarding, Kung Fu Forest, Climbing Canyon, and Flycycle Sky. An Action Star Training Centre with Yoga Station, Strength Centre, and Dance Club are also part of the experience.
Run! Jump! Fly! Adventures In Action™ stimulates the body and mind while simultaneously boosting physical development, promoting a healthy lifestyle, and activating cognitive development.
Weekly Themes
Summer at the Children's Museum is action-packed! Join us weekdays between 11:00AM - 3:00PM for weekly crafts and activities that will get your heart pumping, and special story times at 12:00PM and 2:00PM.

- August 5 & 6: Royal Winnipeg Ballet School will be facilitating a creative movement workshop at 11:00AM and 1:00PM.
- August 12 & 13: YogaKids instructor Cathy Spack will be onsite for some family-friendly yoga sessions at 11:00AM and 1:00PM.
- August 26 & 27: Fit Kids Healthy Kids will be at the museum with their motion zone drop-in active center from 11:00AM to 3:00PM.
Run! Jump! Fly! Adventures In Action™ was developed by the Minnesota Children's Museum in partnership with the Youth Museum Exhibit Collaborative. Local tour sponsored by Johnston Group. Additional local support provided by CIBC Wood Gundy, Global Television, Len Dubois Trucking, Prairie Public, Toromont CAT, and 103.1 Virgin Radio.

The Children's Museum will be CLOSED to the public from Tuesday, September 5 to Friday, September 8 for cleaning and annual facility maintenance.

MANYFEST
The Children's Museum will once again be participating in Manyfest - downtown's biggest street festival hosted by the Downtown Winnipeg BIZ! Join us on Saturday, September 9 and Sunday, September 10 from 11:00AM - 6:00PM at the Minifest Kid's Zone and show off your kite making skills, then wow us when they take flight!

MINI MONDAYS

Mondays at the Children's Museum are very special days. Every Monday from September to April, join us for a fun-filled morning and afternoon of stimulating play designed for our youngest visitors, children under 4 years old! We provide tailored crafts to help develop fine motor skills, activities that aid in dramatic play, and a special story time at 11:00AM and 1:00PM in our Time Squared gallery.
