Truly "Friends For Life"
Some more shout-outs to some special Friends For Life:
  • To those few Riders who helped a turtle cross the busy Thousand Island Parkway!
  • To our Top Fundraisers! You are all amazing!

Thank you!

The Bike Rally Village moves on
Welcome to Johnstown where our journey continues eastward. We hope you enjoyed the journey from Kingston today. We couldn't ask for better weather!

Just a reminder, tonight we're camping at a public campground and our tent area is right beside some lovely families that aren't part of our Bike Rally Village - yet! So please keep the noise down and behaviour in check!

Tips for Tomorrow
  • Tomorrow is POZ Day - a day to reflect on why we are riding. Participants who are living with HIV are able to self-identify by wearing a POZ jersey in a safe and welcoming environment - there is no stigma attached to being HIV positive here. If you wish to wear a POZ jersey, pick one up tonight at camp at the specified location after dinner.
  • For those not wearing a POZ jersey show your solidarity and support for our courageous friends who are living with HIV/AIDS. Plan to give plenty of hugs and smiles!
  • Please do not take pictures of anyone wearing a POZ jersey without first getting their consent.
  • When you arrive in Lancaster, stop at Dairy Queen for a DQ Blizzard - it's a Bike Rally tradition! For today only, $0.50 of every sale of a DQ Blizzard will go to PWA.

PWA's Friends For Life Bike Rally is the sustaining fundraiser of the Toronto People With AIDS Foundation. The experience of the Bike Rally promises to have a profound impact on the lives of every participant.
