Welcome to the 2017 second quarter issue of
One ELLE of a Newsletter - the
ELLE Foundation's ePublication that is your source for inform
ation on the Foundation,
ELLE's Kids and events.
Each year awareness of the ELLE Foundation grows within the Pediatric Oncology Community and more and more wish applications are being submitted...each carrying the heartbreaking journey of a child battling a recurrence of cancer for the second and sometimes third time. With its one wish per child policy,
Make-A-Wish even refers former wish children to the
ELLE Foundation.
Up until now the ELLE Foundation has been able to run off of the support and generosity of family, friends and our community, but we are now at a crossroads and we must start to form partnerships with businesses that want to join ELLE's Family and help create memories of joy that ELLE's Kids will treasure in their hearts forever.
Since its inception in 2010 the ELLE Foundation has been successful in never having to deny a child a wish because of the lack of funds, but with wish applications out numbering supporting donations, this is becoming more and more difficult. Please help us continue Lauren's legacy through partnership with the ELLE Foundation.

On May 19, 2017, Mountain View Elementary School continued their annual tradition
of the Stuck for a Buck fundraiser. They raised $818 for the
ELLE Foundation.
One ELLE of a Shout Out to Elle Ambassadors:
Michael Schwartz who has run Stuck for a Buck for 8 years, raising $9,000!
and
Gary Hicken of One Stop ACE Home Center, Washington, NJ who donated the
Duct Tape

Vineyard Vines Shop for a Cause
On June 13, 2017, Vineyard Vines located at the Mall at Short Hills Mall held
a
Shop for a Cause event to benefit the
ELLE
Foundation. This annual event raised $1557!
