The Divine Dance Summer Reading
Pick up a copy in the Café or order online.

This summer, St. Mary's clergy and staff invite you to read The Divine Dance by Richard Rohr.   The Divine Dance  explores the Holy Trinity , "t he unending flow of giving and receiving between Father, Son, and Spirit that is the pattern of reality." Pick up a copy in the   Café this Sunday for $15  or order it online . Then plan to join us this fall
as we delve into its themes
and what they mean for our daily lives.

Continue to connect this summer...
Whether you are in Richmond or at the river or the beach.

If you are away this summer there are many ways for you to connect with St. Mary's. Listen to Sunday sermons on the sermons page. Read the weekly Annunciations and reflections on our website. Follow us on social media via Facebook and Instagram. And don't forget to pick up a copy of The Divine Dance either online or in the Café area.

We look forward to seeing you on Sunday, September 10  as we kickoff our program year at 10 a.m.  with an open house! After the 11 a.m. service, we'll celebrate with a parish picnic.

Director of Music Search Update

The search for our new Director of Music is in full swing! We have received almost 30 resumes so far from candidates all over the country. It's been exciting to see the caliber of musicians that are interested in joining us at St. Mary's. Even as we continue to accept submissions until next Friday, the search committee has begun evaluating applications and interviewing the top prospects. In the coming weeks, we will invite some of those candidates to spend further time with our clergy and staff, demonstrate their organ playing abilities, and direct a rehearsal of the choir. We look forward to finding the right fit for St. Mary's and then welcoming a new Director of Music in the fall! If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Andrew Moore.
Outreach Grant Recipient Highlight
Goochland Free Clinic and Family Services

St. Mary's Outreach Committee and Vestry are excited to announce that  Goochland Free Clinic and Family Services (GFCFS)  is one of this year's St. Mary's outreach grant recipients.  Many of you may know that St. Mary's members were instrumental in founding now one of our closest outreach partners, Goochland Free Clinic and Family Services (GFCFS).  The mission of GFCFS is to provide access to health care and basic human services for Goochland residents who need assistance.

The $9,900 grant will support the provision of health care services for uninsured, low-income adults. Medical services include disease management and education, procurement of medicines, vision care access, and medical specialist referrals.  In addition to the grant, St. Mary's supports GFCFS by volunteering and holding drives at the church.

To find out more about Goochland Free Clinic and Family Services, other outreach partners, the grant application process, and more, contact Ashley Cameron.
