WELCOME TO THE 2017-2018 SCHOOL YEAR!


Dear Parents,

I hope this finds you refreshed after a summer of enjoying your children.  We look forward to seeing everyone back at school on Tuesday, August 8th. We welcome a few new faces as we extend bittersweet goodbyes to Mrs. Kassi, Mrs. Saller, and Mrs. Martone. We are most grateful to Mrs. Kassi and Mrs. Saller for their dedication to OLPH for 17 and 18 years respectively. We wish both of them the best of luck as their career paths expand beyond our community.
 
I extend a warm welcome to Mrs. Mary Pivonka, Mrs. Tatiana Horne, and Mrs. Callie Ward.  Mrs. Pivonka is our new Assistant Principal.   Mrs. Horne is the new 4A homeroom teacher. Mrs. Ward is  the new 5B homeroom teacher.   We are blessed with an incredible group of qualified, certified teachers. 

I am most grateful to all of our parents. Thank you for allowing us to partner with you in your child's education.  As I begin my eighth year as principal and look back on all that has changed since I started at OLPH in August, 2000, I thank God for all the blessings He has bestowed upon our school.  Thank you to our teachers and staff members for their dedication to our students.  I look forward to a successful 2017-18 school year.

WELCOME BACK COFFEE


Join us for coffee at drop-off on Tuesday, August 8th in the Celtic Pavilion. Help us welcome our new families and reconnect with our returning families.


MORNING DROP-OFF AND AFTERNOON PICK-UP

Drivers are asked to observe safe driving practices at all times. Parents are to drop off in the back of the school, entering the property on Main Street and exiting on 2nd Street.  

The gate is unlocked at 7:40 AM and locked at 8:00 AM. Parents of younger students wishing to walk their children to the classroom must sign in at the front desk.

The back gate will open for dismissal at 2:55 PM. 

 
BUS INFORMATION

Thank you for your patience and understanding while we adjust times and schedules for the beginning of the school year.  We are grateful to Buck Boehm and Lionel Eras for their continued commitment to OLPH.

CLUB ELEVATE -  AFTER SCHOOL CARE

Club Elevate will start on the first day of school.  We are pleased to continue offering quality after school care, including snacks, in a Catholic environment while adding the benefits of being licensed by the state of Arizona.

If you will be using Club Elevate for regular after school care or for drop-in, you must pre-register your child(ren). Registration paperwork, including the Blue Emergency Card and immunization records, must be complete and on file prior to your child being in attendance.  This packet must be picked up and returned to the front office, no digital copies or email forms will be accepted.  

We look forward to caring for your children again this year.

CEA SCHOLARSHIPS

 

It is not too late to apply for a Catholic Education Arizona scholarship award!  The Round 2 application deadline is midnight August 17th; tax documents must be received by FAIR within the week.

SAFE ENVIRONMENT TRAINING & RENEWAL

New parent volunteers must complete the Safe Environment Training class and complete a volunteer application.  Returning parent volunteers must complete the 2017 online renewal class.

UNIFORM REMINDER

Athletic shoes with tie or velcro closure must be worn daily.  Shoes must be solid white or black with black or white soles and laces matching the color of the shoe. No slip-on shoes, sneakers with wheels, or shoes that light up are allowed. Socks must be solid black or white, without logos, and visible above the shoes.

6. Click the Order link on the calendar to begin
7. Check out & pay - Please be sure to complete the checkout process. Do not close your browser prior to receiving the confirmation display or your order may be interrupted and not fully processed. Items left in your shopping cart will not be processed and your order will not be placed.

QUESTIONS
FOOD or POLICY (Missed/Late Orders, Credits, and Changes/Cancellations): Need to cancel a meal just email: [email protected] by 9pm the night prior to service and credit will be issued. Once meal has been ordered no refunds are issued.

PAYMENT INFORMATION The program accepts payment by Debit Card or Credit Card: Visa, MasterCard & Discover for all on line purchase. Be sure to proceed to checkout and process your payment. Orders that are left in the shopping cart will NOT be processed and your student(s) will not be included in the lunch service. PROCESSING FEE: A nominal processing fee is charged so that we can offer our lunch program online.

All walk in meals must be paid for in full at time of service. All Checks must be made out to Blue Willo. Any returned checks will result in a 25.00 service charge plus the amount that the check was written for. If the problem is not resolved within one week then All NFS Checks will be turned over to Maricopa County Attorney's office for bank check writers.
