August 4- First Friday Networking

Six area Chambers (Hudson, Twinsburg, Cuyahoga Falls, Kent, Tallmadge, Streetsboro) gather for  networking before work on the first Friday of every month at  Great Lakes Honda,  43 Pruitt Blvd. in Akron.

August 8- Networking Coffee

Around Town

There's plenty to do this month in Hudson:

Art on the Green returns August 26-27. This free art show features over 140 artists from around the country. Held rain or shine on the southeast green, the show features oils, watercolors, fine jewelry, pottery, glass, photography, fiber art, garden art, and more. Sat. 10-5, Sun. 11-5. Sponsored by the Hudson Society of Artists, www.hudsonsocietyofartists.com.

The Hudson Farmers' Market  runs every Saturday morning from 9am until 12:30 pm on the Clocktower Green. Over 30 vendors offer locally-grown produce and home-made goods. Check their website for more information at:   www.hudsonfarmersmarket.org.

The Summer Music Festival features  f ree concerts Sunday evenings on the Gazebo Green through Labor Day. Sponsored by the Hudson Bandstand Committee, the weekly program offers music for every taste. in front of Joann Headquarters at 5555 Darrow Rd. in Hudson.  This year's dates remaining:   Aug 19 and  Sept 30 from  9am-3pm.
