National Night Out August 1st 5 to 7 pm
|
National Night Out is tonight from 5 to 7 pm at Colby Park. This year's event will be full of FREE family activities and fun. Prizes and drawings will take place throughout the event.
Activities offered:
* Bounce House, game truck, face painting, spin art, and many other kid friendly activities.
* Photo booth
* Jaws of Life demonstration
* Police K-9 demonstration
* Safety consultation and resources will be provided on-site by Y.E.S.S., Dental Connections, Carlson Chiropractic, and State Farm Insurance.
* LifeServe will be on hand for blood type testing.
* Food and refreshments with be provided while supplies last.
Each year the Windsor Heights Police Department includes a service project during their National Night Out Celebration. This year the Police Association will be collecting donations for the American Red Cross of Central Iowa. Silent auction items will be available to bid on with all proceeds going to benefit The American Red Cross.
