 COACH Registration Requirements


All Coaches are now required to register for the sport you would like to coach. If you have multiple children, you will need to register for each division separately so that when division coordinators run their report your name will be recognized and considered.  There is no cost at this time.

Registering does not guarantee a coaching position.

All Sport Board Member are required to register as a volunteer for their Sport each season if they will not be a coach.

Coaches/Sport Board Volunteers will need to add their individual profile to their family account; including Legal Name, Date of Birth, Address and proper contact information. Your spouse can not register on your behalf.

The MRC is a 100% Volunteer Organization and always looking for good people to keep programs running.

 

Volunteering usually starts at the individual Sport Level and its not always just coaches. Commissioners are often looking for people to help with various operational task.

 

We thank you for your help and dedication of time.

 

 

 

Food For Friends Program
 
 FOOD FOR FRIENDS PROGRAM
 

The MRC has a long standing tradition of helping those in our own area that are in need.
 
Through our individual sports programs we have raised tens of thousands of dollars and food for those less fortunate.
 
At the MRC we strive to help our community and as such we have started a new program.
 
Marlton Rec Council is proud to announce our newly formed Food For Friends program.
 
T his program will provide assistance to folks within our town who need it by continuing to have canned food drives and raise money to purchase food and donate it to local food banks.

Keep an eye out for our Sport Sponsored Food Drives, advertised through the Sports, Our Newsletters and Face Book Page
 
For Families on the Run:
  • Tuesday and Wednesday Dinner Delivery Service. A portion of your order will be donated back to the help fund the program.

2017 K-2nd Grade Fall Field Hockey Clinic
THIS PROGRAM IS ONLY FOR GIRLS WHO ARE GOING INTO K-2nd GRADE.
Saturdays starting Sept 9th

8 weeks total

2017 Fall Roller Hockey
Roller Hockey - age as of 12/31/2017

Late fee of $25 per registrant starts 8/15/17.


2017 Fall Baseball
Age as of April 30th.

2017 Fall Soccer
Ages 3-18
Play Begins 8/1/2017
Practices will begin for the oldest age groups first. Younger groups will start around Labor Day.

U10 AGE LEVELS AND UP WILL BE DRAFTED BY COACHES. WE WILL NOT ACCEPT ANY TEAM REQUESTS.

LATE FEE STARTS JULY 31ST.
REGISTRATION CLOSES SEPTEMBER 4TH

2017 Sports Unity Program (SUP) Street Hockey
Sports Unity Street Hockey

Where: The Rinks
When: Wednesdays 9/13-10/25
Time: 6-7pm

Players are children, ages 5-18, regardless of skill or ability who want to learn game specific skills and play team oriented sports.

Buddies are teens and young adults who work each week with
the athletes to assist them in learning game specific skills.



2017 SUP Baseball
Sports Unity Baseball (Special Needs)

Where: The Diamonds at Arrowhead Field
When: Monday's starting 9/11-10/23
Time: 6-7pm

***Player must have their own baseball glove***

 

2017 SUP Fall Soccer

Starts September 16 and runs Saturdays through October 28
12-1pm at Beeler Elementary School

2017 Fall Softball
THIS IS IN-TOWN REC LEAGUE! Don't register here for travel softball season!

Players who were registered for 2017 Spring softball and were in grades 6-9 as of June 2017 are eligible. 
Season includes a game on Saturdays and practice one evening during the week in September and October.

2017 Fall Basketball League

 

 

In-Town registration only. Registration will be open 7/31-9/22. No late signups. $70 registration fee. Games begin on October 2nd and end November 14th. 5 games, no playoffs. If a division has less than 16 players, we will offer a clinic option. If you are a Marlton travel player, you can either play with your travel team or you can play in-town. You cannot play both.
Please remember to register as a volunteer or coach separately from your child's registration. Check out our web page on the Marlton Rec Council under "Sports Programs".
