Living Water! Ahhhhh!!!

A Note From Pastor Linda

Let anyone who is thirsty come to me,   and let the one who believes in me drink. As   the scripture has said, 'Out of the believer's heart   shall flow rivers of living water.'  ~Jesus (John 7)

Dear Church,

1 Amazing Pastor (that would be Pastor Jen Collins!), 5 Luther Crest Team Leads,
12 Adult Volunteers, 15 Junior Leaders, 32 Elementary Kids AND 40 Preschool Kids!!

This week we are hosting Vacation Bible School Day Camp- with the theme LIVING WATER.  It's forecasted to be a steamy week here in MN, in fact as I write (Monday afternoon) we are currently under a heat advisory. (Thanks be to God for our Mission Post- with cool AC running and space for kids to run too!) Health experts will recommend on days like today that people should drink lots of water to replace what they lose trying to stay cool through perspiration; excellent advice for our physical health and well being. Did you know, the human body is about 60% water in adult males and 55% in adult females? Lean muscle tissue contains about 75% water by weight. Blood contains almost 70% water, body fat contains 10% water and bone has about 22% water.

Water- what are you thirsty for? Many of the water products on store shelves are using the word "LIFE" in their marketing of water. Nestle suggests that their purified water is "PURE LIFE".   When I see this printed on a bottle of water, I'm reminded of the TRUTH of the matter. The Bible tells us that there is but ONE source that provides us TRUE LIFE-Jesus, the Living Water.

Water- what are you thirsty for? See you in Church!!

 ~Pastor Linda
