Peggy Dunn grew up in Greensville County, Virginia and is a graduate of Greensville County High School. She earned an Associate of Applied Science in Nursing from Southside Virginia Community College.
Since graduating from SVCC, Peggy has completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Liberty University and become the Director of Surgical Service at Southern Virginia Regional Medical Center in Emporia.
An active member of Zion Baptist Church, Peggy serves as President of both the Children's Ministry and the Nursing Ministry.
Peggy chose Southside Virginia Community College as a great educational resource near her home. Another deciding factor was the convenient schedule that afforded her the opportunity to work while a student. She urges potential and current students to take advantage of the opportunities at SVCC and to enjoy its friendly, encouraging atmosphere.
