What: Candidates and voters will have a chance to discuss their vision for our students and community in the upcoming Greater Burlington Partnership school board forums. These forums will be moderated by a member of the Government Relations Committee and, for the first time, feature candidates in all four Des Moines County public school districts.

What:  Titan Broadcasting is partnering with the Greater Burlington Partnership to host the first annual Greater Burlington Restaurant Week. Participating restaurants will offer $8 lunch specials and $15 dinner specials throughout the week. An online contest will be held surveying the general public on their experience for six different categories: Best Pork Dish, Best Beef Dish, Most Unique Meal, Best Value, Best Service and Best Tasting Healthy Option. Winning restaurants will receive a radio advertising package valued at $750, a plaque and an emblem for their website or other promotional materials. Diners will be entered into a drawing to win a gift certificate for each participating restaurant with an anticipated value of $625.
